Delete Your Account

You can delete your Cindar account and all associated data at any time. We offer two ways to do this.
Option 1 — From inside the app (instant)
- Open Cindar on your phone.
- Go to Settings (gear icon, top right of the home screen).
- Scroll to Account.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account, all logged meals, photos, nutrition history, goals, and any linked auth identities are removed from our systems within 24 hours. This cannot be undone.
Option 2 — By email (no app required)
If you no longer have the app installed, send a deletion request from the email address tied to your account to support@hestia.fit with the subject line "Delete My Account".
We will verify your identity by replying to the email on file, complete the deletion within 7 business days, and send a written confirmation. No further action on your part is required.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, daily goal, diet preset)
- Every food entry, photo, and AI analysis result
- All cached Apple Health / Health Connect activity data
- Authentication identities (Apple, Google, email)
- Expert invite tokens you issued
What we may retain
We may keep minimal records required by law (for example, anonymized billing records if you ever made a purchase, or basic abuse-prevention logs) for the time period required by applicable regulations. These records contain no nutritional or photographic data.
